Akin to any sun-filled European location, Cornwall is bursting with a feast of fantastic wedding venues, magnificent landscapes and gorgeous weather.

Cornwall’s best wedding venues sit amongst gorgeous coastal and rural backdrops. From rolling hills to jaw-dropping sunsets, beach locations and idyllic meadows, Cornwall’s top wedding venues are some of the best places to get married in the UK.

I’m lucky to live in this beautiful part of England. As an experienced Cornwall wedding photographer, I also have the amazing chance to shoot weddings at divine Cornish wedding venues all year round.

From elegant manor houses to sublime rustic barns, fairytale woodland locations and breathtaking castles, I’ve pulled together my top 20 best Cornwall wedding venues for you to enjoy.

The list is not a ranking but is done in alphabetical order, so here are the top 10 best wedding venues in Cornwall:

Cornwall Wedding Venues

1. The Alverton Hotel

This beautifully unique, Grade II listed, 50 bedroom hotel has stood on its hillside setting since 1830 within the Cornish capital city of Truro. Though, don’t take my word for it – The Alverton Hotel has won numerous wedding awards, including Best City Venue seeing off the likes of The Gherkin in London and Queen’s Hotel in Cheltenham.

Did you know that their Great Hall was designed by the same Architect as Truro Cathedral? With a high vaulted ceiling, marble staging and grand stone pillars it provides the most breathtakingly beautiful backdrop to your big day.

Here are some of the weddings I’ve photographed at the hotel, its always nice to photograph a wedding at the hotel as the The Alverton’s wedding co-ordinating team are always a pleasure to work with.
