Weddings at Cornish Camels are guaranteed to conjure warm memories, unique stories and smiles, as you wed amongst the Bactrian camels on Rosuick Organic Farm in Cornwall. Surrounded by rousing views across Rosuick’s wildflower-strewn meadows and the awe-inspiring Lizard Peninsula beyond, The Camel Centre’s irresistible camels are accompanied by wallabies, and Welsh black cows, ostriches, peacocks, pretty gardens at every turn and an array of unique wedding spaces.

Together they create a sensational wedding venue in one of Cornwall’s best locations. Serving up the perfect blend, Cornish Camel’s wedding spaces include a picturesque 15th-century Corn Chamber. The historic construction is an original thatched grain house that’s over 500 years old, doubling as a local farm museum when not in use as a licensed wedding space.

At the other end of the scale, the contemporary Camel Centre provides the always-popular,  picture-windowed reception space, yet here they offer camel views sure to give rise to endless laughter for guests seated nearby.

Relaxed yet special, each venue offers a unique experience with the Wagon House’s rustic modern barn space, plus multiple outdoor areas, completing the collection. With Cornwall’s best coastline, the Lizard Peninsula, on your doorstep as well as top Cornwall attractions and views, Cornish Camels is truly a sensational wedding venue in Cornwall.

A Spectacular Cornish Camels Wedding on the Lizard Peninsula

For your wedding ceremony, the Corn Chamber makes a striking indoor or outdoor space. Once used for winter storage of grain and straw, the Corn Chamber creates a unique space for an intimate wedding, with room for just 10 wedding guests.

On the other hand, you can exchange your vows on the Corn Chamber’s steps and have as many loved ones present as you wish. Alternatively, have a barn wedding ceremony in The Wagon House. Formerly home to the farm’s all-important tools, the large, licensed historic barn has the atmospheric wood-beamed ceiling, lime-washed walls, bar and courtyard space that makes a rustic barn wedding in the country so special.

Stay on at The Wagon House for a reception for 40 seated guests indoors or 75 under the canopy outside. Or head to The Camel Centre for a huge space with high ceilings, lots of light and windows plus a big dance floor and neutral décor you can transform to your taste.

For ceremonies on the grounds, there’s an array of outdoor spaces including: The Orchard and The Cottage Garden (unlicensed so suitable for blessings and celebrations) which also double as space for garden games, picnic receptions, tepees, festival weddings and more.

If the kids or guests want to explore, there are numerous trails you can take as well as a sandpit on-site for the children. Cornish Camels is a picturesque venue in itself with beautiful buildings, heathland, woodland and farmland to explore.

Just beyond is, of course, the Lizard Peninsula and Goonhilly Downs Nature Reserve, but in the wider local area are an endless number of top Cornwall attractions and locations waiting to be explored.

Mesmerising Kynance Cove, sublime Trebah Gardens, Flambards Theme Park, the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Goonhilly Earth Station, Mullion Cove, the South West Coastal Walk and Lizard Point are just some of the top attractions in the area.

Close by are wonderful St Ives, Penzance and more, as well as surfing, coasteering, windsurfing and diving.

Positioned in such a desirable region, divine accommodation of every kind, for you and your loved ones is easy. From glamping to treehouses, yurts, boutique hotels, oceanview accommodation and more, it’s all easily available. Indeed, on-site at Rosuik Farm you’ll even find a 3-bed cottage available for hire and more.

Cornwall has a very high standard of wedding photographers, but Paul is the cream of the crop. A true master of his art, our wedding photos will be treasured for the rest of our lives.

His photos are stunning- classy, timeless, personal and he has captured our families perfectly! Each photo is so full of joy, narrative and personality.

Magical Cornish Camels Wedding Photography

Still a family-owned farm, award-winning Rosuick Farm has been a certified organic farm since 1997. Dating back to the 1700s, you’ll find yourself surrounded by 250 acres of beautiful woodland, heathland, pastures, meadows and waterways.

Sitting in a valley in an Area of Outstanding Beauty in Helston, between Traboe and Trelan, a wedding at Cornish Camels makes jaw-dropping wedding shots easy.

In addition to all the beautiful scenery on the farm, you have the infamous Lizard Peninsula nearby meaning some of the UK’s best beaches are available for your wedding photography.

The Camel Centre is enveloped by the scenic Goonhilly Downs so between the animals, open fields, rolling hills, flower-filled gardens and historic structures, it’s fair to say your wedding photos are guaranteed to be stunning.

Of course, you’ll want wedding shots with the camels – on them if you choose! Hailing from Central Asia, Rosuick’s camels are particularly photogenic with two humps, deep pile fur (which ensures they can inhabit both cold and hot conditions) and a height of more than 2m for the exotic wildlife wow you desire.
