Barn weddings in Cornwall
Trevenna Barns is always one of my favourite barn weddings in Cornwall to photograph. Being a recommended wedding photographer at Trevenna Barns I have photographed a number of weddings here and this was the reason Graham and Gemma chose me.
It’s very unusual for the bride and grooms to have travelled the furthest to their own wedding as they travelled over from Dubai, where they live.
The morning of the wedding the weather was absolutely terrible; restricting my drive up the A30 to 30mph, not a great start to the day. On arriving Gemma was going to have the wedding outside in the Arbour whatever the weather, and she even had 100 umbrellas on standby.
Within one minute of Gemma making the walk to the Arbour on the lawn the clouds broke and the sun came out. It was a beautiful ceremony with some very touching and funny readings.
After the ceremony we had a quick walk around Trevenna Barns and took some portraits of Graham & Gemma, before bringing them back for the speeches. With Graham being a teacher and his bestman being a Head teacher I knew we were in for a treat, as teachers are used to public speaking and I’m sure they treated it like teaching a lesson.
Once the wedding breakfast was finished we nipped off to one of the nearby fields for some more portraits and to capture the last bit of sun before heading in for the first dance.
As usual here is a selection of some of my favourites from a Trevenna Barn Wedding. Please feel free to share on social media, or leave a comment.
