Alverton Hotel Wedding
A few weeks I photographed my first Alverton Hotel Wedding. I had met Will & Amy back in November at the Pendennis Castle wedding fayre and was excited to find that their wedding was going to be held at the Alverton Hotel, as it had a brand new refurbishment.
The bridal preparation photographs were a wedding photographer’s dream, as the room I was in was huge, plus it had big windows letting loads of natural light in. This allowed me to capture some great photographs of Amy and her bridesmaids.
Alverton Hotel Wedding
The Alverton Hotel wedding can host ceremonies in the ‘Great Hall’. Since its fire in Jan it too has had a whole new refurbishment and looks amazing. After a beautiful ceremony everybody headed outside for some drinks, and even had some entertainment provided by Will and Lukas his usher, who played the guitar, and a magician who had everybody baffled by his card tricks.
After the wedding breakfast we had the speeches, and breaking with tradition, but becoming more common, the bride had a few of words to say. It was a standing joke at the wedding that Amy would say a few words and she almost thanked everybody personally for coming. Lol
The evening’s music consisted of Will & Amy’s friend singing a solo for their first dance, and Will who himself is a keen musician, had his usher’s band come and play for the evening’s entertainment. From what I heard even Will took to the stage for a couple of songs throughout the evening.
As usual here is a selection of some of my favourites from a Alverton Hotelwedding. Please feel free to share on social media, or leave a comment.
