Wedding at Trevenna Barns | Ryan & Rachel
Wedding at Trevenna Barns | Ryan & Rachel
Just last week I had the pleasure of photographing Ryan and Rachel’s wedding at Trevenna Barns. I do love Trevenna Barns as it’s an all in one wedding venue which means that you get to spend more time with your guests or have more time for romantic couple photographs.
My day started bright and early as it was a 12 o’clock wedding. The weather couldn’t have been better, and I have to say every wedding at Trevenna Barns I’ve photographed has been really good (touch wood).
Ryan and Rachel made full use of the Cornish weather by having the ceremony outside on the lawn. The ceremony was beautiful and everybody enjoyed Pimms and canapés on the lawn before the normal group shots. We then headed off around Trevenna for some beautiful bride and groom portraits.
After the wedding breakfast had finished the speeches started. They included touching speech by Rachel’s Dad, and beautiful words spoken by Ryan. That’s where the niceties stopped! Ryan did take a lot of abuse from his brother (joint best man) who even had an embarrassing Youtube video ready for the guests to view afterwards.
Not many brides these days throw the bouquet of flowers, but Rachel was really keen. So after the speeches we gathered everyone out on the lawn and positioned Rachel on the bank. On releasing the bouquet it almost looked like a line out in a rugby match, and I captured some great expressions, but maybe not for the guy whose partner who caught it lol.
I wish Ryan and Rachel all the best for the future and can’t wait to start designing their wedding album.
As usual, here is a selection of some of my favourites from Ryan & Rachel’s wedding in Trevenna Barns. Please feel free to share on social media, or leave a comment.

Wonderful photos Paul, so natural.
I keep seeing outdoor ceremonies at Trevenna, I’m yet to be so lucky as to get one. Hopefully soon. Thanks again Paul.
Thank you Barney, I would have thought you had photographed there? It’s an amazing venue on a lovely summers day. :-)
