Cornwall Engagement session

A Cornwall engagement session is a great way to prep you for your wedding day. When speaking to Sam and Anita they didn’t want to go to the beach or the woods and wanted something different. I’ve been to Event’s square in Falmouth quite a few times and thought the National Maritime Museum would be a nice backdrop for the engagement shoot.  We were lucky with the weather, as it looked like it was going to rain for most of the day but it gave us some lovely soft light through the clouds.

I arrived at the venue 30 mins before to do a bit of a recce so I knew where to take Sam & Anita. We spent 45mins minutes taking photographs, but I really wanted to take a photograph with Falmouth docks in the background. Being a little cheeky I popped up to Pizza Express armed with all my camera gear and asked the manager if it was ok. It always helps when you say its for a couples Engagement shoot. :-) The photograph below is a shoot thought some empty glasses from a table across the balcony.

As usual, here is a selection of some of my favourite shots from Sam & Anita’s Cornwall engagement session.  Please feel free to share on social media, or leave a comment – I love those and always try to respond too.
