My Personal Favourite Moments of 2018
Wow, what a year 2018 has been. I’ve photographed 38 amazing weddings this year, in some stunning locations, mainly across Cornwall and Devon, and a couple of snowy weddings in Zermatt, Switzerland. A few big changes this year have streamlined my editing from buying/moving into my first home and building an office/editing studio in the garden. Towards the end of this year I decided to completely change over my camera systems from Nikon to Sony, and what a game changer with the last 5 weddings I photographed. It’s changed the way I photograph and I can’t wait for 2019 weddings and capturing more quality photographs with the Sony cameras.
This year I decided to pick my personal favourites for my ‘best of 2018’, as a photographer these may not be the couples obvious choice of photos as I’m sure they have their own favourites, but these are special to me for simple reasons like lighting that I’ve created or moments that have made me smile.
Through the year I have been regularly entering awards, and I am chuffed to have won two Nine Dot Awards, picked as a finalist in the Simply wedding bespoke wedding photographer category, and am a finalist at the South West wedding Awards which is being held at the end of January so fingers crossed. All I can say is a huge thank you to all my couples that voted for me, you are all amazing! I’ve had such fun at all the weddings this year, all unique in there own way.
I want to say thank you *SO* much to every couple who has allowed me to photograph their wedding this year, every lovely person I have met along the way and everyone taking the time to read my waffling, I hope you enjoy looking at my Best of 2018 photographs as much as I did capturing them!
If you enjoyed looking at my best cornwall wedding photography 2018 and recently got engaged, then I would absolutely love to chat about your wedding plans. My availability is now extremely limited for 2019 and 2020 is booking up fast (I have even had a booking for a 2021 wedding!) so please don’t delay in getting in touch!

I love how you have captured true emotion, something that others find difficult to portray.

Did you mean the photograph outside the grand Zermatterhof hotel steps?
