Tregedna Weddings, Cornwall

Tregedna Farm is a working farm on the outskirts of Falmouth. It has its own campsite as well as holiday accommodation in Tregedna Lodge. At the top of Tregedna Lodge are two large barn wedding spaces – The Loft and The Barn.

You will also have a courtyard, gardens and open fields available for your use. All this means Tregedna weddings offer a blank canvas for you to host a wedding that’s exactly as you imagined.

Whether you want to exchange your vows in a top Falmouth wedding venue nearby, such as Pendennis Castle, Princess Pavilion or Above The Bay at Falmouth Golf Club, or hold both your ceremony and reception on-site, a wedding at Tregedna Farm leaves every option open to you.

For church ceremonies, Tregedna’s close proximity to Falmouth means all of Falmouth’s top churches are within easy reach. Popular Falmouth churches for wedding ceremonies include: St Mary Immaculate, All Saints,St Michael’s and Church of King Charles the Martyr in the centre of Falmouth’s main high street.

Intimate wedding? The team at Tregedna simply adjust the wedding spaces so they provide a cosy atmosphere for a smaller guest list. Multi-day celebration? Tregedna wedding costs include accommodation for up to 24 on the ground floor of the lodge.

A quick minute drive will land you in three of Falmouth’s most celebrated beaches. Swanpool Beach is just 5 minutes away, Maenporth is 2 and Gyllngvase 8 so it’s easy to incorporate Falmouth’s golden sands into your day if you wish.

Whatever type of wedding you choose, Tregedna Farm and Lodge is a truly versatile space made even easier by the wedding team’s passion for being as flexible as possible.

Flexibility means you can bring in your own suppliers, use one or both of the wedding spaces, put up decorations.

The two barn wedding spaces are housed in Tregedna Lodge, a converted grain store with all the features of a traditional barn wedding venue. Wood beam vaulted ceilings top both The Loft and The Barn for instant appeal.

Both venues are flooded with light, with wood flooring in a warm hue on the floors and complementary wood panelling on the walls adding just the right amount of character.

Seating for up to 90 means The Loft is often chosen as the venue for the ceremony. For larger guest lists, The Barn can seat up to 100 or host up to 150 for the reception.

Experienced Tregedna Wedding Photographer

The opportunity to incorporate everything from the beach to the countryside and Falmouth Harbour in your wedding photography makes Tregedna weddings really interesting to shoot.

For example, you might choose to wed at Pendennis Castle which sits at the head of Falmouth’s coastline or you may decide to incorporate some time on the beach into your day. Falmouth is an area rich with contrasting landscapes so wedding photography here is amazing.

At Tregedna Farm itself, there are gardens, woodland and fields to provide a gorgeous countryside backdrop to your wedding photography. I’m a local Cornwall wedding photographer and a recommended Tregedna Farm wedding photographer so I know the area really well.

Whether you want to head down to one of the nearby beaches with wedding guests or the wedding party or just the two of you, it’s really easy to incorporate beach wedding photography into your day.

The views from Tregedna are beautiful and so much variety means Tregedna wedding photos are always really special.

Tregedna Farm – A Rustic Barn Wedding Venue In Falmouth

Tregedna Farm is a barn wedding venue which lands you in the middle of two of Cornwall’s most iconic regions.

On one side lies Falmouth on the other, Mawnan Smith and the Roseland Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Falmouth holds a strategically important position for the UK because it sits at the meeting point between the English Channel and the North Sea.

Falmouth Harbour is a picturesque location at the mouth of the River Fal. It’s the world’s third-largest natural harbour so watersports, boat trips and cruises are popular in Falmouth.

The area is rich with history and top Cornwall attractions including: National Trust Glendurgan Gardens, The Eden Project, the National Maritime Museum Falmouth, St Anthony Head, St Mawes Castle, Trebah Gardens, St Michaels Mount and more.

We discovered Paul on the Tregedna Weddings website, we viewed his portfolio and were very impressed by his work and competitive pricing- everything was transparent and easy to see.
We were hoping that as we were booking two years in advance that hopefully, he’d be free on our special day. We sent him an email and he called us back within the hour to discuss our requirements, he was so friendly, approachable and incredibly efficient- always available to have a chat and help us out.

On the big day, Paul was amazing he instantly made us feel at ease, established what we’d like and offered helpful comments and suggestions- being a same-sex couple we’re certainly not used to holding hands, let alone kissing in public! But he was so supportive and offered encouragement that we did just that! We’re glad we did too our photos are AMAZING!
