Trebah Garden wedding

I was so excited to be asked to be Liam & Carley’s Trebah Garden wedding photographer. This wasn’t any normal wedding, as we started at the Duchy Hotel for the bridal preparations, Trebah Garden for the wedding, then to Mawnan Smith Church for a blessing and to finish off, the wedding reception was held at The Cove Restaurant.

Liam & Carley fell in love with Trebah Gardens after a number of holidays in Cornwall, while staying near the Ferry boat Inn. Once the wedding guests saw the venue, the travel down was all worthwhile.

This was my second Trebah Garden wedding in two weeks and again we were greeted with amazing weather. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and afterwards everybody headed on to the lawn for drinks and canapés. We quickly rounded up the groups for photographs with a request that their Boxer dog (Marci) was in a group photograph. We had a limited time so rushed down to Trebah’s private beach for some quick photographs before we all piled in the back of the Trebah’s van to The House.

A little different to the norm, we headed over to Mawnan Church for a blessing. This was to facilitate all the guests that couldn’t make the Trebah Garden wedding ceremony. Another lovely ceremony with some very touching readings.

On arrival to The Cove Restaurant we had planned to do some beach photographs with Liam and Carley, but due to it being nearly 30’c the beach was packed with sunbathers, so we postponed it till later for some dramatic wedding photographs.

After the wedding breakfast I captured some beautiful speeches from Carley’s Dad, Liam and the best man. With Cake cutting and first dance next we managed to nip over the road to Maenporth beach for some photographs.
