A few weeks ago I was with Rob & Christina photographing their wedding at Trebah Gardens in Falmouth. This was my first wedding of two, in two weeks at Trebah Gardens and I was very privileged to photograph their wedding in such a beautiful venue. Trebah has beautiful sub-tropical gardens and its very own private beach which is any wedding photographer’s dream.
My day started just down the road at the Budock Vean hotel for the bridal preparation. This had to be the calmest bridal prep I’ve photographed and I had loads of time to photograph Christina in her dress. Normally these photographs are missed due to them not allowing enough time to get into the dress. This is the perfect time for these photographs as the makeup is fresh, and the hair is styled.
Wedding at Trebah Gardens
We were greeted at this wedding at Trebah Gardens by beautiful weather, which meant all the French doors could be open to allow the breeze to cool down the wedding guests. The ceremony was beautiful with some lovely readings.
After the ceremony we had a drinks reception with canapés on the lawn, before everybody made their way down the valley to the beach for ice creams. This is where we stopped off at different locations on the way for some portraits of the bride and groom.
We then headed back up to the restaurant for the wedding breakfast, speeches and cake cutting. All finished off with an awesome band that came down from London.
As usual here is a selection of some of my favourites from their wedding at Trebah Gardens. Please feel free to share on social media, or leave a comment.
