This was my first St Ives Harbour Hotel wedding, and WOW, Dan & Cassandra had chosen a beautiful setting for their wedding. St Ives is always a favourite as its renowned for having a special quality of light, the sun was out and the golden sand beach below looked amazing.
I started my day with some photos of the girls getting ready in the bridal room. The hour before the ceremony is normally the most frantic, but with loads of time to spare I managed to photograph the girls in their dresses which was an absolute pleasure.
After the ceremony we headed out on to the lawn for the guests to enjoy the sun shine with some drinks and sweets from the sweetie cart. Then afterwards: down to a very busy beach for some photographs, there at the end of the beach and very much quieter we found some colourful beach huts. Whilst the bridesmaids enjoyed paddling their feet in the water we strolled down to the waters edge to add some variety to their portrait session.
St Ives has some of the best sun sets in Cornwall, but sadly today wasn’t going to be one of them. 🙁 So to finish off Dan & Cassandra’s wedding album we took some posed photos, using the hedge tunnel as the main feature.
I hope Dan & Cassandra love their album which is getting hand delivered (by Dan’s mum) all the way to Germany were Dan has been posted.
As usual here is a selection of some of my favourites from the St Ives Harbour Hotel Wedding. Please feel free to share on social media, or leave a comment.
