This week I found out that I will be a finalist in the Westcountry wedding Awards 2014 in the ‘Bespoke Wedding Photographer’ category. This category is a blend of candid images of guest interactions and an influence of fashion photography using creative editing and lighting.
The brides/grooms are asked to judge me in five different categories, Service, Quality, Value for money, and Commitment to their wedding. Each Category is rated on a scale of 1-5 then it ends with a short comment.
Now I have the hard task of writing a mission statement which will be judged against the feedback from the all the wedding couples that voted for me, In addition they will appraise my website.
I’m up against some stiff competition, but will be keeping my fingers and toes crossed to be at the awards ceremony which is being held at Crownhill Fort on the 6th March 2014.
Even if I am not successful, it has been a true honour that all my past brides and grooms put their trust in me to capture their special day and then took the time to vote for me in the awards. So it is a very big THANK YOU to all.
