Richard & Laura’s Engagement session in Lake Garda gave us the chance to find some different locations to photograph for their wedding day. With the Italian heat to be considered, the wedding was to take place at 4pm. This gave us a small window of 30 minutes to move to several locations.
Of course Lake Garda would be the most obvious choice, but I didn’t want to keep Richard & Laura out in the sun for too long, so we headed to the back streets looking for some shade.
We found a couple of perfect locations in the shade that gave us different backgrounds for a variety of shots that were all just a short walk from the Barcadero Café where all the guests would be waiting and enjoying the drinks reception.
Looking back on the locations, the 2 police cars in the alley way nearby should have made it pretty obvious that we were in fact closing the huge wooden doors to the car port of Salo’s police station. This became apparent on the wedding day, when 4 Italian police men walked in on our photo session!
As usual, here is a selection of some of my favourite shots from Richard & Laura’s Engagement session in Lake Garda. Please feel free to share on social media, or leave a comment – I love those and always try to respond too.
